Monday  
Monday was a day for getting acquainted and touring two Fargo businesses: Cass Clay Creamery and Aldevron, a biotechnology firm
On the bus ride to Fargo, Tom Hagness, Manager of Minnesota Dairy in Grand Forks, discussed the meaning of ENTREPRENEURSHIP
and characteristics an aspiring entrepreneur could be developing now. The use and creative and innovative thinking to overcome obstacles and limitations was stressed.
Tuesday  
On Tuesday, recent high school graduate, Steve Blair explained how he started his own business, Promo-talk.com. Steve showed how the Internet can be a very valuable tool for entrepreneurs.
Daneen Curley, owner of Details, a gift store in EGF, talked about the importance of creativity in the business realm.
Later, the entrepreneur teams brainstormed and planned their own ice cream flavor creations.
Wednesday  

On Wednesday, Dr. Dennis Elbert, Dean of UND's College of Business & Public Administration, and Traci Korynta, Director of Marketing for Subway and TCBY, discussed the importance of marketing, strategy and the four Ps of marketing

Thursday  
On Thursday, it was time to talk $$$$. Business banker, Lenita Rime of Wells Fargo Bank acquainted the young entrepreneurs with the terms and concepts of financing---a.k.a. where to go to borrow money to start your business.
Todd Chrzanowski, an attorney with McKechnie & Associates talked about the legal aspects of starting & running a business.

Gourmet lemonade was the order of the day when campers acted out the roles of the many individuals involved in starting a business.

Ice Cream Night: Tom Hagness took care of arrangements to have each team's flavor creation made into ice cream. Sales and marketing were learned firsthand, when the entrepreneurs sold their ice cream in the Marshall Field's store in Columbia hall on Thursday night!
* Friday *  

On Friday, former UND CoBPA entrepreneurship director, Bill Dougan discussed the importance of having a business plan. George Youngerman, regional director of the Small Business Development Center, talked about business and finance information resources.


Teamwork, strategy, and fun were the elements in the games the young entrepreneurs played before the graduation festivities began.
Graduation  
Graduation festivities began with a family luncheon catered by Subway
. UND president, Charles Kupchella stopped by with greetings and congratulations for the graduates and Bruce Gjovig was the guest speaker for the ceremonies. Bruce is the director of both the UND Center for Innovation and the Technology Incubator. He was inducted into the North Dakota Entrepreneur Hall of Fame in 2001.
