Travel
PBL can broaden your horizon by giving you the opportunity to travel and network outside Grand Forks. Each fall PBL takes a trip where we visit corporations/employers and also have fun. In spring we have our State Leadership Conference where students compete, attend motivational seminars, and tour corporations. Summer offers the National Leadership Conference.

UND student fees and fundraising help defer some of the costs

Fall Trip
In 2008 PBL will travel Nov 7-8th to Minneapolis to attend PBL's National Fall Leadership Conference. In the past PBL has visited the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, MOA, Mystic Lake Casino, among other hotspots. This trip is a great opportunity to get to know other members. .

Spring State Leadership Conference (SLC)
In March of 2008 North Dakota's SLC was held in Fargo, ND. UND was represented by 31 students and their faculty advisor. SLC included tours of Microsoft, and seminars from PBL's National Parliamentarian, Rick Berg ND House Majority Leader, amongh others. UND notably was crowned the overall champion. Help defend our trophy.

SLC will be held in Bismarck in Spring of 2009.

Summer National Leadership Conference (NLC)
In June of 2008 the NLC was held in Atlanta, GA. UND was represented by 6 students. At NLC participants learned new ideas about shaping their career future through workshops and exhibits. Students also enjoyed the visiting the Federal Reserve of Atlanta and the headquarters of Coca Cola..
